A start to a new week

This summer has been crazy and I am grateful that this week is a little less crazy! I had girls camp last week and I wasn't able to go to all of it, it was fun to get away and get to know the girls better. I want to start writing in my blog kind of like our family journal of what we have done or what we have been up to. I just went back to school shopping for the kids school supplies which is crazy cause I feel that school just got out. Riley just left to Scout Camp for a week and even though I will miss him, I am glad that it will be a little more quiet around here. We have been blessed this summer to see cousins and aunts and uncles we haven't seen in awhile. Also we have seen friends that we haven't seen for awhile even though we live so close that it just gets crazy around here and it is hard to make plans. We bought a cabin in Island Park with our friends the Hobbs on June 15, 2010 the day of Riley's 13th birthday and we went to Alaska in June and Travis surprised me with a trip to Washington to visit the sites of Twilight and other beautiful old Victorian homes and beaches. Over all so far we have had a blessed summer.
