My 2009 New Year Resolutions

Here is my top 5 resolutions (goals) for 2009. I know they say that most people do their new years resolutions for a little while and then fail. I hope that I will be able to do all of them but especially the important ones. I have more than 5 but you know how that goes.

1. Have more of a regular family prayer and scripture reading time each day.

2. Go to the temple at least once a month and work on my own self and sprituality.

3. Spend more one on one quality time with my chidren.

4. Go on a date with my husband once a week and spend more quality time together at home, not just doing our own things but things together. (it is not what you think Travis!)

5. And last but not least, I couldn't forget the #1 resolution on most people list. Not to just lose weight but feel better about myself as a person and a woman.

Let me know what your goals are.

A date once a week! Wow, that sounds the most difficult to accomplish. LOL. Yeah, go to love New Year's. A time for renewal and change.

I always have good intentions to make new years resolutions, but never get around to it. SO after reading yours I am really going to do it this year. Thanks for your influence.

Mine are pretty standard: Read Scriptures MORE...Eat LESS!!! Thanks for your quote on my blog. I have been a blogging slacker lately...I haven't posted or surfed...It was just too hectic through the holidays! I am hoping we can go on the cruise. My one problem (and its a big one) is that my mom was all set to come watch our kids...we had talked to her about it and she was great with it and then my Sister, Jill announced her pregnancy at Thanksgiving and is due June 20th(she always goes a week early). So that pretty much takes priority over our cruise for Grandma. So we are trying to find someone else we trust, etc. etc. I think I will just call you cause as you know I can talk way faster than I can type. Talk to you SOON!

Good thing you clarified that one for Travis. I had to laugh thinking back to our time in La Crosse. Sounds like some great goals. I may have to try a few myself.
